Mezzanine

Working with the available height

Are you looking for increased storage capacity in the available free height of your warehouse? An intermediate floor, also known as a mezzanine, landing, entresol, balcony or warehouse floor, is a light, removable construction that can multiply the net usable workspace of your warehouse depending on the free height of your building.

Your additional storage space is accessible through the use of a staircase for staff and a pallet gate for your goods. Various safety mechanisms guarantee the safety of your personnel.

Mezzanine floors can combined efficiently with warehouse shelving to maximize your storage capacity.

Specific information regarding the operation, benefits, components and quality of our mezzanine can be found in the tabs below.

Operation

A mezzanine or intermediate floor can be placed independently. There is no need for an existing structure to create a floor.

The stand-alone mezzanine can be furnished with warehouse shelving both underneath and on the floor structure. It is also possible to work with ground locations that do not require extra material. This decision depends entirely on the needs of your warehouse.

Intermediate floors are supplied with staircases for your personnel to access the upper floors. In order to get the goods up to the levels, the mezzanines are often equipped with different types of pallet gates. A forklift truck can place or remove the goods from the ground floor using the pallet gate. Personnel can then move the goods further across the intermediate floor.

Pallet gates are equipped with security mechanisms to ensure the safety of your personnel. In addition, the intermediate floors can also be provided with a railing, floor kick plates, etc. to minimize the risk of accidents.
